Literacy for a Lifetime – a 50% Matching Grant Program. Literacy for a Lifetime TM is a matching grant program partnering Educational Development Corporation (EDC) with businesses, foundations, and individuals to support local educational institutions. EDC is the leading publisher of children’s non-fiction books, and proud to have developed the Literacy for a Lifetime program to support educational funding on the local level.
Literacy for a Lifetime (LFL) incorporates a 50% matching grant for individual corporate donations to organizations. For example, if a corporation or private foundation has a grant of $10,000 for a local school and the school uses it to purchase products from Educational Development Corporation, EDC will match it with an additional $5,000 in products. (Minimum grant $250)
